Under this project the expectant mother along with their family members are made aware about the importance of institutional delivery, usage of iron & folic acid tablets and care & support required after delivery. This will help them in reducing the mother and children mortality rate. For that we used to organize meetings with the expectant mother and other stakeholders. Institutional delivery (Admission/stay/transportation) - Rs. 1,000 Medical Checkups starting from 3rd month of pregnancy and issue of Health Card - Rs. 500 Iron/Calcium/vitamins & protein supplements for preventing anemia and malnutrition - Rs. 300 Post-delivery food, nutrition/medicines for a month - Rs. 1,200 Total Cost - Rs. 3,000
